Matt grew up in South Windsor, Connecticut. He went to college at Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, NC. He graduated in 1994 with a BS in Business Administration and Sociology. He met Dana while at GWU and they married in 1996. She graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a Pharmacy degree in 1996. Matt graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with his masters 1999 and doctorate 2005. Matt and Dana have 4 kids: Andrew, Mollie, Luke and Jake. Matt and Dana love family time, church softball, playing sports and coaching kids in sports. Matt and Dana love 24, The Bourne Trilogy and family time.

I was born in New Mexico, but I've lived most of my life in Ohio. I am a Buckeye fan at heart, but I'm finally accepting the fact that I now live in ACC Country. I became a follower of Jesus Christ when I was eight years old, and I'm continually amazed that even though my plans and God's plans are not always the same, He still allows me to serve Him by serving His people. Tricia and I met in undergrad at Malone College in Canton, Ohio, and she was gracious enough to marry me in 1996. We moved to Wake Forest where I attended Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary for my MDIV and was able to squeeze three years into four. We then moved back to Ohio where I led student ministry for eight years until God brought us back to North Carolina for me to be the Executive Pastor here at The Creek Church.
Our children, Ashley, Nathan, and Daniel, have been a true source of joy for us, and I love the adventure of being husband and father! I'm excited to be a small part of God's big plan, and my desire is to love people so that wherever they are in life, they will take the next step in their spiritual journey with God.

| Matt Hahn (Teaching Pastor)

Matt was born in Southern Florida, but spent most of his life living in Apex, NC. He attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA for both his undergraduate work as well as for seminary. During his years at Liberty, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Religion as well as a Master of Arts in Church Ministry. He plans to further his education at Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest by working to complete his Master of Divinity degree.
Matt and Erica met in college and were married in January 2006. They have a beautiful daughter (Abigail Grace) and are expecting another girl in September. Matt enjoys hanging out with his family, fishing, reading, working out and playing basketball.

| Scott Pearce (Worship Leader)

Scott grew up in Lakeland, Florida and lived there all of his life before moving to Raliegh in early 2009. He graduated from Southeastern University in Lakeland with a BS in Business and Professional Leadership and a minor in Church Leadership. He met his wife, Marsha in 8th grade and they have been married for 19 years. Marsha grew up near Pittsburgh, PA before moving to Florida in 1995. They have three children - Erica, Spencer, and Jack.
They have already come to love this area and the changing of the seasons. They have taken up camping since moving here and enjoy getting out into nature for a few days at a time and just enjoying time together as a family.
